Country Profiles
With growing gaps in HIV prevention access, key populations have an even greater need for HIV prevention options. Global Black Gay Men Connect (GBGMC) developed community-informed country profiles which feature overviews of HIV epidemiology, service delivery, policy environment, and access challenges for key populations at heightened risk. They also highlight legal and structural barriers, progress toward epidemic control, gaps in prevention access, and considerations for expanding choice in HIV prevention, with a focus on the introduction and scaling of long-acting PrEP options. These profiles support health advocates at the country level with key information illustrating the gaps in PrEP access for key populations and to advocate for expanded PrEP services.
