GBGMC Special Event: Screening and Fundraiser, March 15

03/08/2022

Global Black Gay Men Connect (GBGMC) and Exec Eventz collaborate to bring a special event to NYC’s Black LGBTQ leaders, activists, and influencers. Join us at Soho House for an exclusive screening of “Unsaid” a short film adaptation from the book “Words In My Head” by Ayodeji Otuyelu. The goal of this event is to fundraise for the non-profit Global Black Gay Men Connect (GBGMC) and “Unsaid” the film. This fundraiser will allow us to show you what we have done this past year to help, support, and build our community members as they exist boldly in this world.

GBGMC and the filmmaker are on a mission to create a world where the Black LGBTQ community feels supported, loved, and safe!  Event attendees will be able to experience the exclusive Soho House venue as we integrate music, fun, networking, and the film screening with Q&A opportunities for the filmmaker and co-founder of GBGMC.

“Unsaid” is a short film that highlights the coming of age collection of poetry that takes us on a visual journey of emotions surrounding gender, sexual orientation, blackness, and other themes. We look forward to your support and attendance.
