GBGMC Stand United in Support of the #EndSars Movement in Nigeria

10/28/2020

We believe Black people everywhere deserve to live in a world that is safe, that denounces white supremacy. That gives them the opportunities to be the best that they can be.

It is clear that the work we are building to reimagine safety and equal opportunities in the face of senseless police terror, corrupt politicians and systemic racism in Black communities is working.

We know that it is our constitutional right to protest towards the transformation that we want to see in our countries and communities across the globe.

We must take our pains, frustrations and our energy to the streets and to the polls to fight for a vision far from police brutality, homophobia, transphobia, racism and one that does not discriminate us on the basis of our passport or assume we are criminals based on the color of our skin or the model of our phones.

Global Black Gay Men Connect (GBGMC) Stand united in support of the #EndSARS movement in Nigeria, and the #BlackLivesMatter movement in America and across the globe.
