Strengthening Black, Gay-Led Organisations in Brazil, Colombia
Communities taking the lead
GBGMC, with the support of GILEAD, is seeking to strengthen the capacity of black, gay-led organisations in Brazil and Colombia to catalyse effective HIV prevention and treatment services.
The project will influence the policies, budgets, service delivery approaches, and social factors that are barriers to HIV prevention and treatment for communities, and demand creation for proven HIV prevention tools like PrEP and literacy on ARVs in these two countries.
We will also be conducting a landscape analysis to take stock of the capacity which is urgently needed.
GBGMC will build on its funding of black, gay, MSM organisations in the two countries which will also help identify barriers to address.
